Before moving to Lyme he worked in London as a successful graphic designer/illustrator for large international companies and advertising agencies. Working in watercolour and oil, his paintings have been published in magazines, advertisements and limited edition prints and have sold around the world. The versatility of his subjects is as varied as are his painting and drawing techniques. David has trained at Twickenham Art School, St. Martins and The London College of Printing and Graphic Arts. He has taught sketching and painting and gives demonstrations and runs workshops. His work can be seen on his website and at his gallery in Lyme Regis.

Roger studied technical illustration before attending Falmouth School of Art where he gained a BA in sculpture. He then taught for 35 years, attaining the position of Head of Art, Drama and Music at Ashton Park School in Bristol. He also taught landscape and figure painting to adults. Roger says he has loved art and drawing for as long as he can remember and although he has now retired from teaching he has not lost his passion to impart knowledge.
